The brotherhood of Esquipulas is a multicultural and spiritual group formed 23 years ago by Guatemalan parishioners with the objective of increase the devotion to the Black Christ of Esquipulas , of the Esquipulas city of Guatemala. We are very grateful with the Presentation parish that allows to bring a replica of our Lord of Esquipulas for its veneration.

 La Hermandad de Esquipulas es un grupo multicultural Y espiritual formado hace 23 años por feligreses guatemaltecos con el propósito de aumentar la devoción al Cristo Negro de Esquipulas ,de la ciudad de Esquipulas en Guatemala. Agradeciendo a la iglesia de la Presentación el haber permitido traer una replica del Señor de Esquipulas, para su veneración.

We gather twice a month on a Saturday at 7:00pm. In where we read the scriptures and we have prays preceded by a deacon. Then we proceed to the different sociocultural events we have in the parish, as well as procession, novenas and the solemn Eucharists of our lord of Esquipulas.

Also, we work with a project of financial help to two orphanages od Esquipulas city of Guatemala. In addition, once a month we have the presence of a priest that through teachings help us to the spiritual growth of out brotherhood.

Nos reunimos dos veces al mes en día sábado a las 7:00pm. En donde se hacen lecturas bíblicas y oraciones precedidas por un diacono. Luego procedemos a planificar los diferentes eventos socioculturales que tenemos en la parroquia, al igual que las procesiones, novenas y eucaristías solemnes de Nuestro Señor de Esquipulas. Trabajamos en el proyecto de ayuda financiera a dos orfanatos en la ciudad de Esquipulas, Guatemala y también una vez al mes contamos con la compañía de un sacerdote que nos da una charla para ayudar al crecimiento espiritual de la hermandad.

There are more than 25 active members and helpers.

Somos un grupo de mas de 25 miembros activos y colaboradores.

In September we celebrated its enthronement with a Guatemalan fair throughout the day, where you can taste typical dishes and enjoy our music and folk dances. Also present is the Mobile Consulate of Guatemala, to help our fellow Guatemalan who needs to do some paperwork of a necessary document.

At 5:00 in the afternoon the procession leaves to walk through the streets of the parish, making its triumphant entrance at 7:00 p.m. to the church, to close with a flourish our activity with the solemn mass.

In the month of January we celebrate the traditional pilgrimage to the temple and the veneration of the Black Christ with a solemn mass. At the end we have a gathering with folk dances.

As a Brotherhood, we have committed ourselves to sponsor two orphanages located in the city of Esquipulas, Guatemala, these being: City of Happiness and Hogar Esquipulas.

En septiembre celebramos su entronización con una feria guatemalteca durante todo el día, en la que se puede degustar platillos típicos y disfrutar de nuestra música y bailes folclóricos. Así mismo esta presente el Consulado Móvil de Guatemala, para ayudar a nuestros paisanos que necesitan hacer algún tramite de un documento necesario.

A las 5:00 de la tarde sale la procesión a recorrer las calles de la parroquia, haciendo su ingreso triunfal al as 7:00pm a la iglesia, para cerrar con broche de oro nuestra actividad con la misa solemne.

En el mes de enero celebramos la tradicional romería al templo y la veneración al Cristo Negro con una misa solemne. Al finalizar tenemos un convivio con bailes folclóricos.

Como Hermandad nos hemos comprometido a apadrinar a dos orfanatos ubicados en la ciudad de Esqui-pulas, Guatemala, siendo estos: Ciudad de la Felicidad y Hogar Esquipulas.
